Defintely look at the size chart. I ordered a 2XL so it would fit a little big ad it is a perfect fit. It's not real thick, so if you might want the fleece if you live or want to possibly wear it in the colder weather.

The print definitely caught my attention and was loved by the child, but I did not see the US size comparison upon first purchasing and ordered a 2x based on size dimension. He had to squeeze into it, and it was disturbing to see the anticipation built up and then crushed with the fact that he barely squeezed into it. Apparently I should have ordered a 5x for an 11 year old which would have been a self confidence and body image issue.

I love this sweatshirt so much. It won't shrink. If you want a larger feel, definitely size up. This sweatshirt is soft and thick and the price is right.
